Battery claims need context
Runtime changes with fan speed, battery age and added features. Long maximum-runtime claims usually assume the lowest setting. A visible battery percentage and common USB-C charging are often more useful than an unusually high number of speed modes.
Comfort and safety
Look for a protective grille, a stable base and controls that will not activate easily inside a bag. Parents should consider finger access and small detachable parts. Fans provide comfort but are not a substitute for hydration, shade or medical attention during heat illness.
